Hanse 470 cabron mast with custom Park Avenue boom
Upon performance, comfort and simplicity was the main motive while designing the rig. For easy mainsail handling we installed a Harken switch track and produced a special park avenue boom with carbon grooves, serving as attachment points for the lazy bag and bimini.
Awlgrip Graystone paint was applied for the classic look.
The custom package was transported to Glückstadt, Germany to his happy owner.
Pauger Carbon was approached by Hanse470’s owner to prepare the complete carbon package, which includes:
- High strength regular modulus carbon fiber pre-preg mast tube, weight 110kg (255 x 140 mm), carbon masthead;
- Mast full length: 23 860 mm;
- High-strength carbon fiber pre-preg, special park avenue boom with carbon grooves, serving as attachment points for the lazy bag and bimini (290 x 125mm) – 6012 mm length – 28 kg;
- Light-weight Pauger Carbon Vang complete weight: 2 kg (including dyneema purchase 5:1)
- Pauger – BSI/Blue Wave complete Nitronic Rod system including captang, terminals and turnbuckles, V1 size: 11,1 mm,
- Custom color -AWL Grip G1040 Graystone;
- Reckmann-Holmatro external Hydraulic Mast Jack system;
- Harken switch track 26 mm with custom mast surface.
