Esse Boats
All Esse 990 and 750 sailing boats are equipped with Pauger carbon rigging. Furthermore not only the carbon mast and boom is supplied by Pauger, but the carbon rudders as-well. Read more about the technology behind our carbon rigging production.
ESSE 750
As for the construction of the Esse 850 and Esse 990, Josef Schuchter put his trust in the Italian designer Umberto Felci for the development of the Esse 750. This resulted in a successful continuation of the Esseboats design concept.
Essentially, the yacht is conceived as a two-man racer. The modern sail plan includes a self-tacking jib and jib-furler, a square top mainsail and gennaker. The gennaker is set through a launching tube. Neither backstay nor runners are needed and the spinnaker can be dropped using a dropline. Thanks to its construction, the technical configuration and the optimal handling characteristics, the boat therefore also guarantees a great sailing experience as a single hander.
ESSE 990
The Esse 990 provides all what one expects formaintained day sailing. The slick and elegant lines keep their promise and give the boat already at a very slight breeze an incomparable feeling of almost weightless gliding. When sporty, why not. With a crew, it shows its enormous potential and leaves all competition in its wake.
The substantial constructional points are the solid and stiff sandwich construction used, epoxy resin, rig and gennaker boom in carbon. Inboard motor with saildrive and self-tacking jib are standard. The measurement of 9.99 m length and 2.55 m beam permits easy transportation by trailer. So why not the sea or another lake?
